My co-worker said this a few weeks ago. The top of her head was barely visible behind a gigantic computer monitor. "When people say things," she continued, "my brain typically responds in the most literal way." She popped up over the screen. "I think like a kid!" I realize that very often I don't do this unless I am consciously making myself - forcing myself to play. We had a good laugh at the time, but the thought has been running circles in my head ever since.
